About the District
The Gold Ridge Fire Protection District proudly serves approximately 300 square miles of western Sonoma County, stretching from Lakeville in the southeast to Fort Ross along the northern coast. Our diverse service area includes the communities of Lakeville, Wilmar, San Antonio, Two Rock, Bloomfield, Valley Ford, Bodega, Freestone, Twin Hills, Hessel, Camp Meeker, Sebastopol, Monte Rio, and surrounding areas.
Built on generations of community service and volunteerism, the Gold Ridge Fire Protection District has grown through the consolidation of neighboring fire departments, bringing together dedicated personnel, valuable resources, and proud local traditions. Together, we honor our shared history while strengthening our ability to serve and protect the communities we call home.
Today, our combination of career firefighters, volunteer personnel, and firefighter interns work together across our network of stations to provide dependable fire protection, emergency medical response, and rescue services. United as one District, we remain committed to honoring the unique history of our communities while building a stronger, more efficient, and coordinated emergency response system for all who reside or travel here.
